Managing Mood in the Winter Months

• Explore the relationship between winter and mental wellbeing (including the impact of reduced sunlight, sleep disruptions, habit change and seasonal pressures)
• Utilise evidence-based strategies to manage mental health and improve resilience during the winter months (exploring light exposure, mental health maintenance strategies, and CBT)
• Understand the link between food and mood
• Implement lifestyle habits that support positive mental wellbeing.
• Know how to access support for themselves or for others.
